Japanese “Sencha” green tea is gently steamed to “fix” the leaves and preserve their original green colour before being rolled and dried into a flat needle shape. The leaves are then blended with toasted brown rice, creating a warming and nutty infusion.
100g (3.5oz) loose leaf tea in tin caddy.
Tea Profile - Light green liquor, medium-bodied and delicate, with notes of fresh grassy meadows and a hardy nutty linger.
Taste and Strength - Nutty, fresh, clean and grassy.
Steeping Instructions - For best results, use water that has just come off the boil and steep 1 teaspoon per 12 ounces of water for 3 minutes. Savour straight and enjoy multiple infusions.
