This Canadiana jewelry collection features mixed-metal designs created from molds of vintage Canadian military buttons. Crowns, coats of arms, maple leaves, Canadian beavers, foliage, birds and other historic motifs celebrate the heritage and beauty of Canada.
Medallion Making Process:
Original vintage Canadian military buttons were molded in silicone using a wax-injection process. The resulting wax forms were adapted into medallion shapes and cast in metal, preserving the wonderful character and detail of the original button designs. The sterling silver components were created through the same traditional lost-wax casting process.
