These distinctive earrings feature brass medallions created from molds of vintage Royal Canadian Air Force buttons, complete with the iconic crown, wings and CANADA detailing. The warm, antiqued brass finish preserves the character of the original military button design, while polished sterling silver ear wires create a beautiful mixed-metal contrast.
Each medallion begins with an authentic vintage Canadian military button. A silicone mold is made from the original button, then wax impressions are created and individually cast in metal using the traditional lost-wax casting process.
